We live in a time where communication never stops – messages, comments, emojis, reactions. However, we often don’t say the things that truly matter like how much we admire someone’s courage, growth, and work.

Some people even think that saying it out loud might make them seem less credible.

There are those close to us who pretend not to see although it is happening right in front of them. I’ll leave that one with you – to reflect on what might be behind it.

There are also people who genuinely respect and are thrilled by the success of others, but somehow never seem to find the time to say it out loud.

On the other hand, you have people who truly give support.

All these types of people are seen in leadership, in teams, in friendships, and in families.

But something interesting happens when we do show our support publicly and loudly, when we express our admiration, affirm someone’s growth, tell a colleague or a friend “Hey, what you did was great. And it meant to many people.”

I am sure that you will agree that sometimes support from the people you least expect is the most honest one, and maybe the most beautiful one.

Don’t underestimate the power of spoken support. It’s about human heartfelt contact. True connection.

And here’s a simple challenge:
Think of someone who’s made an impact on you recently. It can be a colleague, a friend, a mentor or someone who inspired you. Tell them that and remember – you don’t lose credibility when you speak from the heart. You build it.
