I discovered Dr. Joe Dispenza many years ago. His work shaped my understanding of how we create our reality. Experiencing his retreat in Basel was a truly unique thing for me.
At this retreat, I witnessed people on the edge of transformation – some were sick, some faced personal challenges, but all of them were ready to change. There was an energy of courage, of stepping beyond limitations and embracing something bigger than ourselves. One of many touching moments for me was meeting a woman from a country far from Montenegro. We were complete strangers, who sat side by side, sharing stories, emotions and experiences like we had known each other for years. This, I realized, is the beauty of open hearts and open minds. When we drop our barriers, true connection happens.
Here are some more insights I want to share with all of you:
- Invest in yourself – you invest in your future
We often think twice before investing in personal growth, but we rarely hesitate to spend money on things that bring only short-term satisfaction. Sometimes people forget that the greatest investment we can make is in ourselves. Every step towards inner growth and self-awareness shapes the future we are creating.
- The unknown is the adventure
How often do we wake up and immediately start with complaints, routines or limitations? What if, instead, we treated each morning as an adventure? What if we told our body, “Let’s go! We’re moving forward!” rather than letting old habits dictate our day? This mindset shift can make an amazing difference.
- Change as a choice, not as a reaction
Too often, change happens because we are forced into it – by discomfort, crisis or loss. But what if we chose change before we had to? What if we embraced transformation, instead of resisting it?
- Expect the unexpected
During the retreat, I confirmed how surrendering to the unknown creates space for miracles. The more we release control, the more life surprises us. It’s not always easy, but when we let go of rigid expectations, we allow life to grow in ways we never imagined.ž
- The unknown is the only place where you can create
We cannot create anything new from the known. The known is our past and our old patterns. True creation can only happen when we step into uncertainty or as Dr Dispenza called it “crossing the river of change”. I know, it takes courage, but it is also where the magic happens.
This retreat was not just about knowledge, it was about experiencing change, about being the change. And of course, never forget: Our thoughts create our reality. I choose mine wisely.
