I have already written about how important it is to dare and do something new and different.
I came up with the idea to gather managers from Risk departments from all Montenegrin banks a few months ago. It was important for me to get to know each other better, to raise our profession to a higher level through sharing knowledge and experience, and to talk about things that may be happening now in the field of risk. Together we can do much more.
As a banker, I was proud of my colleagues, and as a coach, I saw how members of different teams gathered around the same idea and how well they functioned on neutral ground.
There is no progress without risk. Of course, every change carries a risk, and the risk needs to be calculated, undertaken, managed and controlled.
Long-term banking experience helped me accept risk, and coaching moved me to define and implement action steps. In all of this, consistency is vital.
That night we met through one chocolate game, which was sweet. We ended by taking with us memories – memories in a nice frame.
Every realized idea needs to be nurtured. Therefore, the next host will be Erste Bank, and I am delighted because of it.
